Dear Colleagues, Friends and Family,
Ten years ago today, AthLife launched to provide education, career development, and life skill solutions in the world of sport. Today, we serve the membership of the NFL Players Association, the Trust powered by the NFLPA, the National Basketball Retired Players Association, and Major League Soccer Players Union. Over the past ten years, we have also worked with professional sports teams and more than 40 college and university athletic departments. In 2009, we established the AthLife Foundation to establish and support the profession of academic advisor for student-athletes on the high school level at now more than 35 schools in ten states.
All in all, we have impacted well over ten thousand ‘Lifeletes’ on all levels since 2004. In an effort to honor those we have worked with, along with the organizations, colleagues, friends and family that have supported us along the way, we will post some of the history of AthLife on future Throw Back Thursdays.
